Tu beseech an otherworldly entity for aid. The being must be known to tu: a god, a primordial, a demone prince, or alcuni other being of cosmic power. That entity sends a celestiale, an elementale, or a immondo loyal to it to aid tu, making the creatura appare in an unoccupied spazio entro range. If tu know a specific creatura's name, tu can speak that name quando tu cast this incantesimo to request that creatura, though tu might get a different creatura anyway (GM's choice).

When the creatura appare, it is sotto no compulsion to behave in qualsiasi particular way. Tu can ask the creatura to perform a service in exchange for payment, but it isn't obliged to do so. The requested task could range from simple (fly us attraverso the chasm, or help us fight a battle) to complex (spy on our nemici, or protect us durante our foray in the dungeon). Tu must be able to communicate with the creatura to bargain for its services.

Payment can subisce a variety of forms. A celestiale might require a sizable donation of gold or magia items to an allied temple, mentre a immondo might demand a living sacrifice or a gift of treasure. Some creature might exchange their service for a quest undertaken by tu.

As a rule of thumb, a task that can be measured in minuti requires a payment worth 100 gp per minuto. A task measured in ore requires 1,000 gp per ora. And a task measured in giorni (fino a 10 giorni) requires 10,000 gp per giorno. The GM can adjust these payments based on the circumstances sotto which tu cast the incantesimo. If the task is aligned with the creatura's ethos, the payment might be halved or anche waived. Nonhazardous tasks typically require solo metà the suggested payment, mentre especially dangerous tasks might require a greater gift. Creatures rarely accept tasks that seem suicidal.

After the creatura completes the task, or quando the agreed-upon durata of service expires, the creatura returns to its home piano dopo reporting back to tu, if appropriate to the task and if possible. If tu are unable to agree on a price for the creatura's service, the creatura immediately returns to its home piano.

A creatura enlisted to join tuo group counts as a member of it, receiving a full share of experience punti awarded.
