Tu make terreno in an area fino a 2 km square look, sound, smell, and anche feel like alcuni other sort of terreno. The terreno's general shape remains the same, tuttavia. Open fields or a road could be made to resemble a swamp, hill, crevasse, or alcuni other difficult or impassable terreno. A pond can be made to seem like a grassy meadow, a precipice like a gentle slope, or a roccia-strewn gully like a wide and smooth road.

Similarly, tu can alter the appearance of structures, or add them where nessuno are present. The incantesimo doesn't disguise, conceal, or add creature.

The illusion includes audible, visual, tactile, and olfactory elements, so it can turn clear terreno in difficult terreno (or vice versa) or altrimenti impede movimento attraverso the area. Any piece of the illusory terreno (come a roccia or stick) that is removed from the incantesimo's area scompare immediately.

Creatures with visione del vero can see attraverso the illusion to the terreno's true form; tuttavia, tutti other elements of the illusion remain, so mentre the creatura is aware of the illusion's presence, the creatura can ancora physically interact with the illusion.
